Gongda Galvanizing have completed a redesign of their fumeless pickle system to completely eliminate the escape of hydrochloric acid fumes to the workshop and to eliminate the carry over of iron to the pre-flux
 
The upgrade sees the addition of air wipes at key positions to assist in preventing fumes exiting the pickle tank. The addition of an extractor and scrubbing system working with low air volume flows ensures a negative pressure in the closed pickle tank to ensure that gas flows into the tank rather than out of it
 
This upgrade when combined with recent improvements to the “flash’ pre-flux system and the use of a ceramic zinc kettles will see a little or no iron entering the kettle and a further enhancement to the dross free wire galvanizing which has been delivering excellent results for the past 2 years
