Sizes: From 1.0 Mts long x 0.8 Mts Wide x 0.8 Mts deep
Up to 15 Mts long x 2.0 Mts Wide x 2.0 Mts deep.
Features:
◆ One part “long life” ceramic lining – 10 to 20 years working life
◆ Thick ceramic lining to cause freezing of zinc in the event of cracking
◆ Rigid steel body to ensure total support for the ceramic lining.
◆ Insulation to give max. 40°c on outer decorative metal skin.
◆ Choice of electric, gas or oil heaters
◆ Needs only a concrete floor and connection to services
The absence of iron in the ceramic lining makes it practical to run a:
◆ Low dross galvanizing system when the kettles are used with the Gongda Galvanizing pre-flux iron reduction equipment.
◆ Zero dross galvanizing system when the kettles are used with the Gongda Galvanizing patented pre-flux system
Galfan coating
The combination of ceramic kettle and patented Gongda Galvanizing “Flash” pre-flux system makes it possible to Galfan coat steel items. Alternatively we can offer a flux chemical to allow single bath Galfan coating of steel items
Ceramic electric heaters
These are rectangular in design and line the 4 walls of the kettle giving a uniform temperature throughout the kettle. Heater control maintains the kettle at ±3°C of the target temperature. Working life is 2 years with the heater element protected from overheating in three ways.
These heaters are recommended only for wire and small parts
Electricity consumption ranges from 100Kwhrs/tonne to 150 Kwhrs/tonne.
Alloy electric heaters
The Rolls Royce of immersion heaters. These are tubular in design and are suspended either along one or both sides of the kettle (in protective recesses in the kettle wall if required). These are manufactured using a highly corrosion resistant alloy sheath. The heating element is protected from excess temperature. A nitrogen protection system protects the interior components from oxidation and premature failure. When operated to our guidelines and under continuous use conditions these elements have a life of approximately 4 years.. The heater control makes it practical to maintain the kettle at ±3°C of the desired temperature.
Electricity consumption ranges from 100 Kwhrs/t to 130 Kwhrs/tonne.
Ceramic gas heaters
These have tubular, highly corrosion resistant, pressure molded sheaths and are suspended along one or both sides of the kettle (in protective recesses in the kettle wall if required). The gas heater automatic system is PLC controlled to maintain the kettle at ±3 °C of the desired temperature using variable flame technology. When operated to our guidelines these sheaths have a working life of approximately 2 years. The burner units have a life of approximately 7 years
Gas consumption ranges from 15 M3/tonne to 30m3/tonne. Gas types: LPG or CNG or Coal gas
Ceramic oil heaters
These have tubular, highly corrosion resistant, pressure molded sheaths and are suspended along one or both sides of the kettle (in protective recesses in the kettle wall if required). The oil heater automatic system is PLC controlled to maintain the kettle at ±3 °C of the desired temperature using variable flame technology. When operated to our guidelines these sheaths have a working life of approximately 2 years. The burner units have a life of approximately 7 years
Oil consumption ranges from 12 L/tonne to 20 L/tonne. Oil types: Diesel or furnace oil
Note: With gas and oil heated kettles waste heat is normally recovered to heat the drier and/or degreasing bath and/or pre-flux bath
