GongDa K-type Corrosion Resistant Thermocouple

The device is based in the international standard K type thermocouple arranged to protect the thermocouple and attached wires from the corrosive effects of molten zinc while ensuring a rapid temperature response
It is comprised of :
- a power connection module at the top end
- a stainless steel outer tube for the section above the molten zinc
- a stainless steel junction section
- a corrosion resistant alloy tube section below the stainless steel section for insertion into the molten zinc
- a K type thermocouple inside the tube arrangement
The alloy tube arrangement of the immersion part protects the thermocouple from the corrosive effects of molten zinc while allowing rapid heat transfer and thus accurate and rapid temperature sensing.
Notes:
1. The corrosion resistant alloy tube is manufactured from a special steel alloy. The material is brittle and must not be subjected to mechanical shock. Brittleness increases with heat exposure. Care must be taken in installation and transport.
2. The thermocouple should be preheated to the temperature close to the kettle temperature before being placed into the kettle. Failure to do so may result in cracking of the corrosion resistant tube.
3. The thermocouple should be installed vertically with only the corrosion resistant part being in the molten zinc. The stainless steel part should not be in contact with the zinc.
4. Avoid contact with the corrosion resistant part of the device while entering work to the kettle and when removing/sweeping ash on the surface to the kettle
